Dear all, I have, as knee jerk reaction (perhaps, just jerk), withdrawn my comments and replies to the period I was a Guest moderator.
In error, I adopted a style of 'one-on-one' more appropriate to a
classroom than, as I have discovered, the internet. This 'style' it
would seem has an unanticipated negative, the effect of which is to sour the experience for me.
I stand behind everything I wrote (intended to convey).
I have unfortunately received emails, and calls making comments etc. that are based on misquotes, bad reading and other ulterior motives.
My desire to delete is against the advice of Jules, who did inform me early on that my comments would be stored, for others to read later. Jules believes that a Gentleman's agreement to this affect existed between us, I apologise to Jules.
For MY peace of mind, I request that the period remain a pleasant memory. At some stage in the future I will create a FAQ section on my website, and I'll try to 'cover' the issues that seemed to be of greatest interest to others, omitting (if I can control myself) anything personal, controversial or negative.
