| The question's moot because even if they did, the chances are very high that like most other reissues it wouldn't live up to the name. The Prophet 08's a good example, not bad but only vaguely related to the original. The soft versions of an 8 are probably as close as it gets.
Rather than waiting for name brand reissues, for the most part outside of analogs that are intrinsically closer to the old daze like Moog and modular analogs it's better just to find good synths without considering pedegree. |
