If its for mixing and leakage isn't an issue, I would recommend getting sennheiser 580, 590, 600 or 650. Expensive but sound great and very comfortable. However these headphones also need a little bit of extra power to be driven. So a dedicated amp may be in order also.

But travelboy brings up a good point. I wouldn't trust cans for everything. Nice option to have for checking though.
