favorite white ESP explorer, loaded with
EMG 81s, into a Boogie Mk. II C+, feeding a Boogie 4x12... as for mics, I saw
pictures from the making of that CD and there were 57s on alot of amps. I'd
also guess they used Neve modules because Bob has a traveling rack with 40
channels of 'em. He also has a wall of Orban parametric EQs, forget the model
though. They tracked onto a Studer 800, later dumped onto a 3348, mixed through
an SSL 4000G+. I know James doubled alot of his heavier rythms with a
Danelectro baritone guitar, and they built a tent of U-haul blankets around his
cabs. |
