Not sure what you mean by quicker? There is more latency when using firewire, I can't imagine there being that big a difference with the firewire card and the rosetta though. The ensemble is not their Pro Convertors. The Rosetta sounds better has more xcard options and has the option of extremely low latency with either a symphony system or the xhd card and a PT system
