this might be kind of a shot in the dark, but here goes:

i'm planning on relocating to southern california within the next month and i need some advice. i'm taking a trip out there next week to scout out some possible places to live and job opportunities.

what i'm looking for are studios in the southern california area with available work opportunities. i'm seeking an assistant engineer position or even an internship. I finished audio engineering school in amsterdam last month and i'm ready to make the sacrifice of moving to a new place and dedicating myself to getting work in this industry.

if anyone knows any good studios that i should pursue work at, please list them here. i'm most interested in pro/semi-pro facilities with a constant flow of incoming projects. i will have no social/family life to speak of since i don't know anyone out in california, so i would like to keep busy. 20 hour days are something i'm looking forward to.

or, if you own a studio and would like someone well trained and dedicated to work/intern for you, then please contact me so we can arrange a meeting sometime next week when i will be in the area. besides audio, i also hold a BS in marketing and have tons of experience with IT, graphic/web design and customer relations.
