| I have a Dual 1.25 G4 that I use in OS9 and OSX. It is quieter in OSX - I think OSX is able to control the fans more carefully. In OS9 it sounds like a hair salon.
I also have a Dual 2.5 G5. That machine is very quiet, and "feels" a bit more refined. Highly reccomended.
I have both machines because of a large amount of unfinished OS9 projects - still working on ending my OS9 involvement!
