You previously received 40% off if you purchased 6 or more Sonnox plug-ins together. Based on current Sweetwater prices, this would mean that buying all 7 native Sonnox plug-ins cost $1374, compared with the $1467 for the now-advertised Elite Bundle (which contains the same 7 plug-ins). Even if you figure the discount from the list price rather than from Sweetwater's advertised price, that would have made purchasing the whole lot $1464, still slightly cheaper than the Elite Bundle.

Moving down a notch to the Essential collection, you could purchase those same 4 plug-ins and, by receiving a build-your-own bundle 30% discount, pay either $1123 (list) or $1057 (Sweetwater advertised), versus the $1127 now being charged for that bundle.

The Enhance bundle, now $627, could previously be had for either $626 (list) or $585 (Sweetwater price) by applying the 25% discount for buying 3 plug-ins.

Additionally they apparently just raised the price of the De-Esser, as Sweetwater now sells it for $330 and in the last paper catalog I received from them this plug-in was only $295. (All of the above figures were based on the $330 price for the De-Esser, though; the point being that a few months ago you could buy all seven Sonnox plug-ins for even less than the build-your-own figures quoted above).

In short these new bundles seem to be much ado about nothing. Hopefully they do not intend to cancel the build-your-own bundle program, not so much for the apparent savings in U.S. dollars, but because for folks like me who already own several Sonnox plugs, the new bundles are essentially worthless if, as in my case, you already own at least one plug-in in every bundle.
Are you saying that Sweetwater or other dealers won't offer these new bundles at lower prices? I haven't checked yet, but unless dealers offer a considerable mark down from what's shown on the Sonnox site, it would appear that you're right in noting there's not much difference. Even so, it could be that Sonnox is just trying to simplify their product line.
