Couple of concerns:

1. I have the original pre 96K model with the older converters in it. Not that I record at 96K but the ones that it came with are really cloudy sounding to me and don't stack too hot. IMO.

2. Drivers have made me bonkers for the last couple of years. Just all the hangups and oddities. It worked but it could be a little fussy. Got tired of dealing with it.

3. Wanted something firewire so I could take it out with the laptop if I needed it.
