If you really wanted to, I'm sure you could connect a switch or two to the the links of the PCB, to be able to go back and forth. Wiring it neatly could be a little tricky.

I question whether this is really a good idea. The -2 option is mainly there for situations where the module is permanently installed in a console and will not be patched to the "outside world".

Out of curiousity, what would be the reason for the switch?
