Not that anyone is particulary interested but based on the feedback I received from my "what should I buy thread" I have decided on the following:

1 Sytek MPX4-ii 4 channel pre
1 Broadhurst Gardens BG-1 2 channel pre

Audix Drums Mic Pacakge [1xD-6, 1xD-1, 2xD-2, 1xD-4]
Studio Projects C-4 Pair for overheads [taking a risk here]
Have SM-57, MD-421, SP C-1
Mogami bulk cable and connectors.

Presonus Firepod to replace my Aardvark Q10 [already bought]

Total: about $3200 US

Thanks and feel free to shoot it full of holes. Pulling the trigger on the rest of it next week.

I figure that computer DAW interfaces come and go so spending some dough on good pres and decent drum mics is the right way to go with this.

Record heavy rock in da basement. Listen through HR-824's.
