Personally, I covet the 808 kick drum, and use it in a majority of my tracks as my Sub-bass of choice. However, I already have a ton of them, many of which are already well recorded (i.e.: Goldbaby, NI Battery, Roland Samples, Sonic Specialists, synthesiszed plugin versions such as the Ultrabeat stuff, etc...)

To be honest, I would be VERY interested if they were the 808 to end all 808's: In other words, larger, punchier, and more "ready to use" than any other 808 I own. That being said, because I already have a lot a really good 808 samples, I doubt I'd be willing to spend $50 unless it was a really special product.

However, if it really is that good, and is clearly that much better than all those other 808's on the market, I would be potentially *very* interested.

I agree with the poster above: Perhaps that price point is a little high?
