You aim a little bit high my friend. My Roland JD-990 bank for NI Kontakt will probably not cost that much. Yet i spent 2 months programming the beast. Plus a lot of time for sampling, editing, looping, etc. You spent... what... 50 minutes to sample a rhythm machine (?).

I wouldn't give more than $10 for TR-808 samples as they already exist on at least 100 different sample cd roms, of which some go cheap as $40, yet they feature the full content of various synths, not just the 808 rhythm machine(!).



EDIT: By the way, as far as i can remember, TR-808 sample bank already exists online as a freeware. Someone sampled it @ 44.1 and put it online. I'll post a link as soon as i find it.
