the pin assignment is in the manual (2.2., in the beginning)
1 - chassis / shield ground
2 - receive data
3 - transmit data
4 - transmit common
5 - supply + voltage
6 - receive common
7 - receive data
8 - transmit data
9 - supply voltage ground
i think it's standard rs-422
