Check the links in my first post to this thread. The Xd is, basically, a powered speaker system. The big deal is the DSP based crossover with time and frequency domain correction. Basically, the DSP creates a filter that puts the drivers in phase and then implements a 100dB/octave crossover. The result is no multi-path transition-band effects and the transients are nearly perfectly coherent.
