I don't like either for one very key reason: the monitors (computer monitors) are too high and your neck will be hurting. I have worked at stations like those and it is the WORST. Computer monitors should be at eye level or just slightly below. Both those designs put it up. It will get very fatiguing.

I loved the design of the Force 36, so I took the picture to a carpenter friend of mine and he built that exact desk for me, for half the price of the Omnirax, with better wood. Plus I got to customize it (got extra rack space, etc...) I really like supporting local people so this was the way to go for me.

If you have any carpenter friends who are into building furniture, show them a picture of your dream desk and ask them about building it. And, darn it, make sure the monitors don't end up too high like some of those Omniraxes!!
