Hey john,

I never did like the NS10 much, but, standard is standard (like the SM58 for vocals on stage - yech!).

Did you check out the articles on the Xd? I think it will will mark the begining of a new era of monitor loudspeaker design (at least with the crossovers and amplifiers). The reports I've got from guys I trust (good ears and shoot from the hip) indicate it is a huge step forward.

Back on topic: Drumsound, You may want to check out the V6 series 2 and the Rockit line from KRK if you like the NHT monitors. They have similar properties. (This may be becasue the former D of E for NHT is now at CV-KRK...).
