I haven't listened to the M-00. I do like the A-20 (a lot like the passive 1.5). I have a pair of M-10s from them. NHT does good work (best value for your money I have ever seen).

I do know a guy or two that did design work there (and some still do). The value stuff that they make has china-made drivers. They have taken their time to set up good QA, but still manage to save on manufactuing costs over using the europe-made dirvers. So, you save money.
