was using a Focusrite Liquid Mix until I started using Cubase4 and the n12 on a mac mini with only a single FW400 bus. That didn't work. I asked in this forum (in dec/january) and George (aka Geosync) said I should try getting a machine with two separate FW buses and hooking the n12 and LM onto those, to avoid conflict. The Focusrite team said something similar, but didn't have any experience with the N12.
So in a week or two I am upgrading to a Mac Pro and will get an extra FW pci card to hook my beloved Liquid Mix onto. It has been idle since I got the n12, and although the n12 has been fantastic to work with I still miss the comps and eqs sometimes. Will keep you informed!
