I saw it at NAMM and it seemed pretty interesting but I'm not sure I'm sold on it. It's gonna be around $7500 for the basic unit with 12 channel expander packs available for $6000 I think the guy said. The touch screen was really cool but it was all a little hard for me to look at sometimes. Also, the mouse was really responsive which I liked. I saw it integrated with Nuendo and I'm a Pro Tools guy so I wasn't too in sync with what it was actually showing on the screens and whether the EQs on screen were Nuendo plugins or plugins built into the Tango system. Honestly, I think I'd rather have my old Control 24 back than the Tango and if I wanted to spend $13k, I'd probably just spend $26k to get the SSL Matrix. I saw it in person at VK Nashville the other day and it blew my socks off - summing, DAW control, on screen routing of analog outboard gear, etc etc.

My .02

Oh and to answer the question of the day, it operates just like the Matrix does in that it uses IP to trick HUI.
