Anyone at NAMM get a look at Tango? I can easily see making use of custom key switches on the touch display, and as it appears, having EQ and dynamics from Nuendo appear directly there would be killer.
From what I've seen in the SmartAV full console demo videos, you can open Logic's plugins just by hitting a switch, then tweaking as desired - if Tango functions similarly, it would be a huge timesaver, and not really much of a duplicated display - e.g. I could keep an arrange window active full screen and operate the mixer from Tango, while editing as I go as well. Minimizing screen/window layout switching. $7500 seems a bit high for only 8 faders, compared to the Euphonix Artist series, but if capabilities of the touch screen and other switches/buttons is significantly greater, then it could be justified - still, $5k or under would seem to me to be the sweet spot for the current hole in controller options.
