Has anyone used this? I'm looking at two different units. Either the Carl Martin Octa-Switch or the Gig Rig MIDI 8.

The Gig Rig is a lot more comprehensive but it also costs more money. Has anyone else used either of these or something else similar to it? I'm open to suggestions.
