I wonder: real drum(mer)? Drums sound a bit stiff, esp. in the breaks - each snare hit sounds identical to the last, so I assume it's either canned drums, or edited/quantized...
I think having a bit looser hat, and dynamic snare/kit could substantially give the tune some "vibe", but only if it's live drums - all bets are off for canned - IME, I could never program/edit emotion into sequenced tracks
Cool ideas, tho: I dig disonnance/rhythmic stuff with acoustic instruments, so bass clarinet, and flute might soften out the "stark" nature of the glock as well.
