I just found out that there are inputs available that will route the audio back into your DAW without using a cable. Simply route the signal out of any unused output. Enable the effects on that output channel that you want to use. On another track in your DAW select one of the reverb returns as the inputs and you are set. There are also two inputs to route mixes from CueMix back to your DAW, very handy. Sorry that I didn't know this earlier. I found out about it while messing with my M300 with the S/PDIF channels.

Here is a screenshot of how my inputs appear in Logic 8 for reference. Notice the stereo Reverb return on 11/12 and the stereo mix Return on 13/14.
