Hi,

I am interested in a field recorder to replace my minidisc. I want drag and drop files and 24/96. I also need replaceable batteries, not a built in rechargeable like the m-audio. My budget is limited, but I will save up for the right piece of equipment. The zoom h2 or h4 are the bottom priced ones. There are a few others like sony, tascam, roland, edirol, and fostex. Anyone have any suggestions? I will use it to record live rock shows and for band rehearsals. So it should be able to deal with high decibel levels.
