I did own Nord Lead 2 some 6 years ago or so. It was a fine synth with very quick, easy and intuitive UI.
The synth sounds a bit cold and isn't the fattest synth on the market, but the sounds are very versatile and cut through the mix really well. If you're looking for a versatile synth, then this might fit the bill. If you're looking for massive basses and big unison/hypersaw kind of sounds, this synth might not be the best one available for the job.
