I don't have any of the comps on your list (do have a Manley Elop, DVC, (2) Distressors, 1176, (2) 160X's, (2) 7110's, and a few others), but I do have a VLA mkI and the CL 7720, and if I had to choose just one, I'd keep the 7720.
