| sick mic... help ! david bock? blue? korby?
hey
i've got a soundelux u99 (rev A) that i've had since they came out (2000?-2001?) and it's my main mic along with an R-84. after doing a month of live jazz in a smoke filled club (still legal in nc) i took it apart to check for diaphragm build up and found a flake of gold missing from the diaphragm. i was pretty upset, can't afford much right now and have many gigs booked. i was wondering if there was a way to switch the wires going to the diaphragm to make the back be the front, since i use it in cardioid 90percent of the time? the noted values on the front and back only deviate by .3
otherwise where do i get a new capsule?
thanks
