Jim's Suggestion is a great one, that's a highly regarded book for advancing on "Lap Piano".

Some that helped me Expand my thinking a little to get me out of the place you describe are;

Artful Arpeggios By Don Mock and Roger Hutchinson pub. by REH

The Frank Gambale Technique Book 1 & 2 Legato Publications/Manhattan Music/Publications/IMP
All of Franks books and vids are great, I think I've Got them all as far as I know, But Start here.

Ted Green's Chord Chemistry and Modern Chord Progressions

Any thing you can find from Arnie Berle is great he's my main man for harmony and chords

Jazz Guitar Technique In 20 Weeks By Howard_Roberts

Theres some great stuff on line from Tuck Andress that I've skimmed through that looks good on chords and harmony. do a search I don't have the link here.

Complacency sucks, I'm always reading and re-reading old Guitar Player Mags and looking for new stuff like this to spark something new to happen, Got keep growing. Looking for that key to get to the next level. I've got so far to go.
