George sent me a new clip recorded to illustrate one of his upcoming lesson updates.

This was recorded on his pod using my Ibanez AF105NT Hollowbody.

From George

"Specs: pod settings: modern class A drive 11:00 bass mid, treble 12:00
Ibanez: treble (bridge) pickup
Reverb: Waves New York Plate reverb: compression: Sound Forge Wave hammer guitar dist 2.
Weird panning of the guitar track

I recorded this to try out some new tricks on the Ibanez to put into upcoming lesson content. The backing track is straight Em-Bm, but I’m liberally using maj 7 figures like d and g. Lots of easy, parallel block position ascending cascades (all using ezroll engine 3on3). I’m also using lots of Left hand pinkie to pluck the strings which is pretty easy and creates additional “overhang” of notes and texture. Even the lowly Pod responds well to this but I’m not sure why. I have a theory-the pinkie plucks are a different tone color and therefore stand out because the amp (or in this case, the pod) circuits are not overloaded with similar tonal information. "
