| Personally I would flip it from left to right and have the navigation bar etc ont he right hand side.
All the search engine spiders search websites from left to right for new content and you will get higher rankings from google and it will be indexed quicker if you make new posts with the nav bar on the opposite side.
Looks great so far though, nice design :)
