Nice job so far!

Definitely absorption on the rear wall, though you can also mix some diffusion in with it. I wouldn't go just diffusion on the rear wall, though.

I think diffusors are difficult and time-consuming to build well; make sure you get a good design if that's what you want to do. The dimensions have to be precise, they are mathematical patterns and won't work if the measurements are off.
