"oldschool" bouncing (recording to another track) is still only realtime, but you can simultaneously record stems/splits/mix minus/etc...and if PT stops do to an error, you can punch back in and "heal" the region separation. |
I agree totally (although I'd only ever put down one mix at a time - if I'm sending anything out, I want to listen to it as it goes down!) but there is a technical problem here, and that needs sorting out. It's almost certainly a database corruption thing.
