you could do this in wavelabs montage window, it has a function to automatically put spaces between CD tracks to whatever size you want.

so, drag all you samples into the montage, set the spaces to 2 seconds, then you can export it as a single big file, or burn it as a CD

most likely other CD authoring programs will have a similar function.
