I saw both units today in Amsterdam at the AES.
I did hear the pre but not the 1176.
Unfortunately the 1176 is again an aniversary unit which will not be made many off.
Just as the signature version in serial production it could have increased the high level that UA allready is.
For what the pre concerns I think TLA has also has something to add a tube to a solid state.
The outlook is a little the same like a U5 from Avalon.
They had connected it to a Mojave MA-100 small condensor.
I must say that the idea is realy good to have the opportunity to give the sound some tube carracter.
There will perhaps be a stereo unit comming also.
As far from what I could hear on a noise AES floor was quite good.
I am sure thee will be some more reviews in the next months.
