Hey Ian,

I have strongly disliked the sound of the PR20 on snare in the past. How would you say the M80 sounds in comparison? The thing I didn't like was the low end woofiness and thickness. I get a lot of bottom from my snare drum in my overheads which are typically a Royer SF12. So I really want brightness and crack (and not mud) to come from my close snare mic. How do you think the M80 fits in with that?

thanks,
Brad
