You should be able to work these issues. The tone is really good on the vocals and guitar. I wouldn't EQ a thing. It's hard to say about the violin because of the reverb.
I would take the guitar and spread it out wide in the field, since it's providing backing. I'd put vocals up front, slightly to the right, and I'd stick the violin in the back and to the left. Use one stereo aux for reverb for all 3 instruments, and use a much shorter reverb. Your tail has got to be 10 seconds long on that thing. Send more violin to it to put it behind the vocals, but not nearly as much as you have. Get the spread right dry, and then add just barely enough ambience to thicken it up. |
I was gonna write something but this guy already wrote it. Love the sound on the guitar. I think the vox sound good. Violin could be brought up and giving a little less "room sound". Combine that with spreading out the guitar a bit and I think it'd sound great.
