| Mic Under $1500? Ak 47, VTB other? voice type sample included
I decided to get a new mic. I'm looking at the Telefunken U47 or the Peluso VTB...very dfferent I know!!
The tele, because it seams like a great piece of gears, it looks good and people are saying a lot of great things about it. The VTB because well it's suppose to be the closest to My Dream Mic: a Sony C800G.
Now just so you know, I love the air"y" sound of the sony. I like my c414 on vocals as well ( a bit harsh on Essss sometimes) but I hate Neumman mics especially the U87. TO ME (only to me) it sounds very muddy, unclear and doesn't fit my voice at all.
Thats said what mic would you recommend (between the two or others) for under $1500?
It will go thru a avalon 737 sp baby face mod.
