I'm looking into small PA set ups now. If accuracy is important then this is not the route to go, but if you want to hear how things translate loud, it can be beneficial. Still ... at $600 I don't think you will be happy with anything you find new or used.

Thanks for the reply, I actually saw the new and cheaper version of the mackies with 8" woofer, and also a saw a used pair of krk vxt8 for $630.
Also behiringer came out wit new truth monitors with ribon and 8.7" woofer.. would look kinda funny behringer next to the genelecs though.
