Yes he is, but he's also a great producer. Perhaps not in the production/sonic sense but in ideas. I heard he recently switched from an MPC 1000 to a PT's rig. His sound has changed and not for the better. He's gone a bit shiny
Never heard of Z-trip. Going to check him out now
