| I run Cubase 4 on an Intel iMac, and it seems to work decently, though some plugs seem to use a lot of processor. I can't speak to logic, but my gut feeling is that if you're doing a lot soft synths, you'd be better off with the Mac Pro. You might not need to top-o-the-line one, but something mid-tier would work well.
