Well I dont know how you call it ,but here in Austria we call this material styropor ,its white most of the time and is being used for packing things and as thermal isolation in building homes . Its made in plates 1,2,3,4,5 or 10 cm thick 50cmx100cm big. Ill have to check out if there is other name for it .

I am going to place the bass traps in 4 corners of the room (super chunk kind of bass traps) and the ceiling is going to be one big broadband absorber with 7 cm rock wool.
