| i know you said drum samples are light,...if not at all,..but,..when they are present what are you using?
made samples form the actual kit? a pre-manufactured library?
and i assume you're using some kind of gating/expanding on the snares?
if so are you heavily gating it or just expanding,.. maybe using verb to make it sound fuller?
