| 2.1 System or 8" monitors?
Hello, Im looking for a second set of monitors (second hand around $600)with good bass. I already have a set of genelec 8040 which I love, the sub for them goes for $2k or more and I dont really want to settle for less with the genelecs...... so, Im looking for a set of monitors that can play louder and reveal more bass than the genelecs.
I was interested in the 2.1 systems such as the blue sky, but I dont really know if going for a 2.1 systeam would be better than getting a set of monitors with an 8" woofer.
what comes to mind for 2.1 are Blue sky media desk, samson stuff.
For larger monitors Im thinking of Mackie 824, KRK V8, M-audio EX-66(not 8" but..), Samson Rubicon 8 ( had the 5" and loved them).
