244's straddling the pipe should be no problem. We can custom size them if you can't just straddle at a bit different than 45 degrees. 45 takes approx 17" along each wall. If you can, I'd go for 2 pair in the front corners for now and skip the diffusion if necessary to get the bass under control. 10x20 is going to have a lot of overlap.
