oohh...see this is why we need the collective knowledge of forums

Ok for the HD24 and the XR version, is it true that I can buy the EC-2 converter card upgrade to make the 24 a 24XR? Does it also mean the XR converters sound better even at 44.1/48khz, cos paying for a 96khz card which makes it a 12 track recorder doesn't make much sense in real world economics....

And how far off are these two converter versions compared at 44.1/48?

I have join the HD24 yahoo group as advised by one of the you guys....will dig for more info on the unit...

And the 24-channel unisolated "Poor Man's splitter" mentioned by edwinhurwitz is so affordable
