| I have been using 2 Multiface II in sync with a Mac Pro on the PCIe cards .
Before that the same 2 MultifaceII on a PC with PCI cards.
The reason being that I won't use mic pres on any of these interfaces, and use all outboard quality pres, so I am line in only to the RME and Mac, and don't need the interface to have a mic pre. I bet part of the judgement call might include the mic pres with some people. I will agree with that on pretty much any interface. The converters are top notch I think. Rock solid and you can run up to 3 units for 24 IO with no issues. |
