| Yeah bounce or "render" the track to audio, then put the resulting audio onto an audio track, and de-activate the original virtual instrument and plugins to conserve DSP. What I do is to make some renders, then save that version of the song in a special folder in case I need to re-render later, then completely deactivate the original instruments and save the song under a new file name.
