This is the first demo I've seen showing a well designed power scaling section in action.
Note that he lowers the gain along with the power control to keep the tone the same and to avoid unwanted clipping.
Since the amp is still being driven hard, it really shows how the overall tone and responsiveness remains the same while only the volume decreases.

I just pulled up the 2008 retail price list from the Suhr web page.
