I love the woodpecker and the coles 4038. Combine the two and it's absolute clarity in the whole range. The woodpecker's smiley eq leaves room for the gorgeous mids of the coles. Of course, buying both of these isn't exactly cheap, but you didn't mention what your budget was. Good luck!
